Peakhunter (peakhunter.com) is a premier Digital Global Summit Log where outdoor enthusiasts can document their peak climbs. The Peakhunter App is designed to allow entries only when the user is standing on a peak, providing GPS location and timestamp verification. Users can share their experiences, photos, and conditions with other community members. It enables convenient tracking of all ascended peaks.

The app functions independently of a cellphone network, utilizing GPS exclusively for location confirmation. Users have the option to download peak data for a specific country to access offline when internet connectivity is unavailable.

The database currently features over 300,000 peaks, although it's important to note that precise positions for all global peaks are not universally available at present. Peakhunter aims to address this by leveraging crowd-sourced GPS data to establish the most comprehensive peak database worldwide.

If users identify peaks that are missing or incorrectly located, they can create new entries which will undergo verification by the platform and fellow users. All documented peak logs are accessible on peakhunter.com.
